Dacor spans gas, electric, and connected models, so the diagnosis follows the fuel and the generation. Oven sensors that skew temperature get measured against spec rather than replaced on suspicion, and we verify with an independent probe what the oven actually holds versus what it displays. Spark igniters that click continuously are usually a wet or cracked electrode, or a switch that never releases, and both are cheap once identified. On the connected Modernist models, we check firmware state and supply voltage before condemning a control board.
What You Can Catch Early
A burner that clicks after it has lit is the most common early warning Dacor gives, and it is a five-minute conversation before it becomes a module. If your convection motor has developed a growl, note it; bearings give plenty of notice. On the refrigeration side, keep the condenser clear, and if the doors on a column have drifted out of alignment, hinge service now prevents the gasket wear that follows. Alignment problems compound quietly.
